Advanced Shipyard Operations

This program provides selected apprentices with an opportunity for continuing education and development in waterfront operations. It is designed to develop leadership skills that will enhance each apprentice's capability to function as a team member/leader and to improve quality and efficiency of production, manufacturing, and maintenance processes. Advanced Shipyard Operations apprentices will take courses specifically developed for the apprenticeship, including five semesters of academic work that will lead to a two-year Associate of Science degree in business administration.
